The European Football Association (UEFA) announced a huge demand for tickets for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany, but reported that it faced millions of rejected requests in the first phase of ticket sales.

“We have a problem, which is that there are robots working for illegal markets,” UEFA Competitions Director Martin Kalin said during a round of talks at the Frankfurt Book Fair. We received millions of them and we are trying to eliminate them.”

The first phase of the ticket sales process began on the third of October and will continue until the 26th of the same month, where fans can request tickets for specific matches, and they will be allocated through a lottery system.

The German national team's opening match in Munich on June 14 has the highest demand, according to Kalin.

The first stage witnesses the launch of more than 1.2 million tickets, and prices start at 30 euros, which is the price of the cheapest ticket for a match in the group stage.

While the price of the most expensive ticket for the final match scheduled in the capital, Berlin, is one thousand euros.

Host Germany, Austria, Belgium, England, France, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and Turkey have already qualified for the Euro 2024 finals. The draw for the group stage will take place in Hamburg on December 2nd.

On the same level, the qualifiers for the European Nations Cup “Euro 2024” are nearing the end, as the competitions entered the decisive stage only two rounds before the end.

The European Nations Cup finals will be held on German soil next summer.

Although two rounds remain until the end of the qualifiers, 9 teams have secured a ticket to Euro 2024.

The nine teams are: Germany (host), England, Scotland, Spain, France, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium and Austria.

The qualifiers will conclude with the ninth and tenth rounds next November, noting that only the first and second places will advance.

12 teams will qualify for the playoff, which will be held next March, and will be distributed across 3 tracks. A team will qualify from each track, completing the contract for the 24 teams participating in the finals.
